Hey people,
Hope someone can help me . . . I'm trying to find a program that will let me make a slide show with music in the background and then be able to burn the results as a vcd. Now I am fairly competent on using TMPEnc and burning vcd's but I haven't been able to find a program that will let me create a slideshow that is compatible to be converted into a mpeg that can be understood by TMPGEnc or a vcd burning program . . . VCD Help is an awesome site and it does explain a way to use just TMPGEnc to create mpegs using BMPS and WAVS but it seems rather difficult for my limited abilities plus I would really like the music to be consistant and not choppy as might be the case if I attached segments of wavs to each individual picture. I would really appreciate any help or advise that anyone can give to me on this issue.
Thanks

Use Ulead's Video Studio 5. It makes great slideshows. You can add transitions, picture in pictures, mix with video, add titles, add music, and add voice over and sound effects. It also creates great DVD and SVCD files that do not need to be run thru any other programs. The quality is great and it takes care of the resizing/proportions of the pictures so that they do not come out distorted/stretched. Add the Movie Factory (which is the DVD/SVCD authoring plugin) and you need nothing else.
