Afternoon all,
just thought I'd let you know another in the sad list of companies to avoid, 24-7 Electrical![]()
I am after a panasonic DMRE50 DVD recorder and found them via kelkoo, checked on their web site and the item was supposedly in stock. Ordered and paid via the pay in 12 months option, the transaction was processed OK.
This morning I had confirmation from the finance that everything was fine and the retailer had been authorised.
Called 24-7 this afternoon to arrange delivery and was told, oh .. its been discontinued and we wont be getting any.
That was it.
No sorry, no "there's a replacement model coming out", nothing.
They have agreed to contact the finance company and cancel the order, (which I will check), and I told them that I will be going to an alternate retailer for any future purchase to the particularly disinterested guy at the end of the phone.
I pointed out that their web site allowed me to order this item on Saturday as supposedly in stock but the guy on the phone could not have been less interested if he tried.
Anyhoo will now search out a supplier who may actually have some stock and see if I can place another order![]()
