Would most programs that burn DVD-Video already support 8X dvd burning or would it need some special update? or is there such software that burn DVD-Video that supports 8X please share![]()

Most burning programs will support 8 X burning.
They can be updated to recognise new drives eg. Pioneer 107, NEC 2500a etc..
It's support for your drive that's important, rather than 8 X burning.
Your drive's firmware decides the capable speed
