I want to reinstall my windows and I wonder is it posible to backup all my "hotfix". And as well for my antivirus program, is it posible to backup my virus definitions?
Thanks

If you used Auto update features likely not. Thats why the really big ones I just download then save to my 2nd hard drive.

Actually, there is a way, but I don't remember what it is. I don't know why Microsoft doesn't publisise this more, but there is a Windows tool that will apply all the updates to the Windows XP installation files (on HDD obviously) so that if you need to install WinXP again, you don't have to re-download the updates.
Do a Google search (and make sure you post your findings here!)

Yeah your talking about slip streaming. I did that to my XP disc, now I have a copy of XP that has the original (java still in it) SP1 and Rollup. That way I dont' have to worry about stupid blaster worm when I come online for the first time.
