Anyone have a really good sugesstions on which to purchase. I have seen the pioneer 106 as a pretty good canidate. If anyone can elaborate would be greatly appreciated. Well, I recently took the same step, and bought a NEC ND 1300A, and haven't had any problems whatsoever. Perfect DVDs every time using both XP Pro and Linux.

    Hi dynamix1,

The Pioneer DVR 106D has done me fine.
