I'm using TMPGEnc since 2 year now.
But now, I have a new installation over Windows XT, TMPGenc Plus 2.5 last version.
And I can't get other file size than 1MB x min. (standard for VCD MPG1 = 1150bps) but when I lower the bitrate (e.g. 700bps) the final file size it's the same????????
With VCD system stream the file size is smaller, but it's not what I want.
I can't match the file size calculated by the bitrate calculator.

I've tried several setting, but I cant get nothing.

With Canopus Procoder, the file size <> bitrate is OK.

    Please, help me!!!

    (Using VCD (non standard) )

Anybody knows if there any version of TMPGenc Plus 2.5 that works OK (VCD CBR bitrate <-> file size in VCD standard) ?

    I'll let you know...

Yes, with VCD (non-standard) the file size changes.

Thanks for all your support and attention.

VCD standard multiplexing rate is 1150 kbps video and 224 kbps audio, no matter what the video and/or audio is encoded at, so to make the bit rates of the elementary streams make any difference in the system stream, it has to be encoded as VCD non standard, just like you found.
