  1. Hi all,

Thanks for the help last time with the Burner, now I am looking at something else. I have downloaded the above program as I wanted to change MPG to DVD, but I am having a few problems to say the least.

The files that have these on are in this format AVSEQ01 that's from mpg format that I have downloaded off the net. I put them on VCD in Nero. This TMPGEnc DVD author let me go so far then says there's an error. It's all the series of enterprise 3 . It seems rather funny that it will let me watch them on my PC or DVD player without a problem, but when I try to get these to DVD format it dose the 1st cpl no problem then when it dose the 3rd one if comes up with error. There is nothing wrong with the VCD as I have checked it. Also I did noticed that when I had formated the VCD's to DVD format the voice were out of sink with their mouth movements? I dont know why this is

If any one has any way of doing this a little easyer then can you please let me know

    Thanks

    Jon

just rename your files to mpg. they'll need the correct headers. then just author them for dvd, i find tmpgenc dvd author works great because it doesnt try to change your mpeg1 into a mpeg2. also you need to change your audio audio sample rate from 44000 to 48000

  4. Those files that come in those vcd folders are dat files if im not mistaken. I use Nero Ultra to transcode and burn those files stright to dvd format. Its simple, drag and drop those files into the "black" window of Nerovision and go through the rudimentry meu creation system and burn. Its as simple as 1,2,3 with Nero. Hop I helped.
Do you doubt my courage comrade Khoi?

the dat files are mpeg1 files witrhout the headers, no need to reencode except for the audio.
