Hi there,
what is the best choice of minimum bitate in 2 VBR pass when encoding a SVCD in TMPGEnc ? (The original movie was ripped off a DVD)
I think that setting the minimum bitrate too high will not leave enough bitrate for the scenes that need it (higher bitrate I mean).
What is the best solution ?
Thx in advance.
P.S : Is there any programme that will show me a diagram of how the bitrate develops in an MPEG 2 VBR file or a DVD disc?

Popular choices are 0, 300 and 900. But it really depends on what your ave is and how much movie you're trying to fit on 1 CDR.
