  1. I have been trying to burn a video file to cd using cdr-win ~ I loaded up the cue file and pressed start ~ it then came up with the following error

Error:Invalid CUE SHEET command at line 5
INDEX time is beyond the end-of-file

I have tried VCDImager to try to make a new cue file but that failed ~ and this is disc three of four ~ all the other cue files have written no problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Open the cue file with notepad and edit the first line so you take out the directory path eg.
    FILE "C:\games\TEST.BIN" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

    FILE "TEST.BIN" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
note that the change in the secind example now has no directory so the burning program doesnt look in the wrong area for the bin file, also if the name doesnt match the bin file then change it to do so.Also another thing you can do is use vcdeasy to extract the mpg from the bin file and then you can make another bin/cue file from the mpg.

  4. johnso,

you would not believe it !! checked the cue file in notepad, and it showed the very top line ie name of file actually said .cue at the end.

I checked all the others and they said .bin at the top, so changed the name, saved it and hey presto, tried to write the cd and it worked.

If everything was so simply ~ thanks for the pointers
