    Hi greg
Don't really know how to record music from a prog but I believe this topic has come up before and someone suggested a prog that can do that. The previous poster wanted sound from a game.
If you can't do that then if your sound card is duplex then you could also loop the speaker sound back to your line-in and record it it like an external sound.

    btw... good question

i dont believe he broke any rules here. he is not talking about using this program, just that he likes the music it plays. anyway, i will help him instead of attacking him

theres a couple ways to capture this sound. you need an audio capture program, im sure there are plenty around here somewhere. the first way is to plug a mic into your mic port and put the mic up to the speakers to record the sound. i wouldnt recommend this though. i would recommend taking an audio cable, and hook it up from your speaker jack or output jack, into your mic jack or input jack. that way your computer will see the mic input, which is actually anything playing through the speakers. then capture away!

  5. In your favorite audio app, record using "What you hear" as your source as the sound plays.

    Other possibilites you could try:

Total Recorder 4.4 from www.highcriteria.com (free trial d/l)

or, Audio Recorder Deluxe 2.2 from www.audio-recorder.net (free trial d/l).

Both will let you record directly from your audio path to HDD in MP3 or WAV format without any other hassles.
Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny
