copying back-ups

im kinda new to the dvd burnig game so plz excuse my ignorance! the problem i got is this; i can back up my dvds with no probs using dvdshrink but when i go to copy these in nero it causes my puter to totally freeze up. i've tried to do an on the fly copy with this result and when i go to copy the video_ts folder to my hard drive, after a while i get an error saying "invalid ms dos function" any help on how to copy a copy successfully would be great.

You shouldn't have any problems at all, but since you do, why not get the original out and repeat what you did the first time ? If the backup is damaged, then it's served its purpose in protecting your original and it's time to make another one.

Try another version of the programs, both have several versions & we don't know which ones you are using.
