Problem cutting with TMPGEnc

Ive just ripped WHAT WOMEN WANT from a DVD, coverted it to MPEG1, when I try to cut it, part 1 works fine, part 2 freezes after it would normally stop converting and show the finished mpeg file.

Anyone any ideas please?

Cutting in TMPGenc is very hit/miss. I would use either Womble VCR or bbMPEG. You can find guides for both to the left under Edit.

I normally use bbMPEG as it's fairly simple.

Aside - you can encode in two seperate parts using the "Source Range" command in TMPGenc (those skipping the cutting step). This makes life much easier, look at Sefy's DVD conversion guide under DVD Rip for more info.
