NEC ND-2500A has very good burn quality and is the cheapest. It's a sweet deal for under $110 at newegg.com.
Both Pioneer and NEC burn either + or - media at 8X. The other two drives, the Lite-On and the LG burn only burn the + media at 8x. The burn quality of NEC and Pioneer are better than the other two burners.
But if you decide to buy any of the other two, the Lite-On or the LG, they are not bad either. You really can't go wrong with any of them. Lite-On has bit setting capability. I believe LG can write RAM disk but I'm not 100% sure about that. -
falberni<--- Tnx for the info.
I am thinking about the NEC but i have heard that the "media coverage" is not that good on that burner. Thats why i am hasitating..
Sorry for my bad spelling. -
