TMPGEnc Error

I am trying to convert an avi file to mpg, but it keeps coming up with the message:

"Index of scan line is out of range (240)"

What does this mean, and what should i do to rectify it?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

try to dub it first em virdub and after that pass it to tmpgenc.

it's weird 'cos i've done it successfully b4, without having to use other software. and now it seems to be working... i wonder why it came up with that message the 1st few times. i didn't even touch the settings.

ah well, i guess it's just one of life's little mysteries!!

ps the pic quality's not what i expected.
