Hey
I'm using TMPGEnc to convert some divx anime fansubs to xvcds so that I can watch them on a dvd player. The problem I'm running into is that one converted the quality is amazing but the subtitles are off the screen on the TV.
====Here's what I'm using for settings======================
- Size: 720x480
- Aspect Ratio: 4:3 525 line (NTSC)
- Source aspect ratio: 1:1
- Video arrange Method: Custom size(640x480)
================================================== ==========
Now.....I have tired different source aspect ratios and I did try the video arrange method as full screen(keep aspect ratio) but the subtitles were off the screen. Looking at the fansubs the subtitles are very low. The source is 512x384 and the buttom of the fansubs is positioned about 15 pixels from the buttom.....so about at ~370.
Any ideas how to get it encoded so that the subs are on tv screen.
