    The TV-Out on my video card doesent work, so i'm wondering, can I use a TV/Capture card in the same way as you would the TV-Out on a video card?

    Only if it has TV-out.

    You sure the TV out doesn't work? I can't use both at the same time on mine...

    You sure the TV out doesn't work? I can't use both at the same time on mine...

    It's dead, it has to be. I know I had it setup right both hardware and software wise. I troubleshot every possible option I had and still nothing.
    I can only assume its defective since it doesent list the TV Chip type in display properties and TVtool even says on the config tab "TV-Chip: NONE"

    By the way, I have an old PCI MPEG2 Decoder card lying around that has a TV-Out. Do you think that would work? If so, how?
