When I program my DVD2avi according to the instructions
that came whit it I get (as a result) the VOB files + one video file
« title».d2v and an audio file “title”ac3…….mp3
I would to create avi files the reason being that I am looking at
other “encoders” I have TMPGenc 2,5 and not quite satisfied.
Now comes the problem after entering all the data into the program
I save it as avi files. It is long but I get SOME weird result:
VOB files a video file .d2v type and an audio file ac3….mp3 type
I also get tons of avi files including the avi video and audio files;that `s
good but it is the amount of avi files I get that is unreal for ex: a small
film containing 4 VOB files after decrypting gave me 24 avi files taking
nearly 48 Gbts,it is unreal! ? ?
What do I do wrong ?What should I do ?
P.S Does anybody knows where I can get good, clear and complete
instructions concerning DVD2avi ?
Thank you in advance

I dont really get what you are saying, but when it comes to DVD2AVI for me i went off that, found that it was to hard to use, and required to much info and stuff you had to put in. If you want a decent program to get a DVD to an AVI (and compress it with DivX) use DVD2DIVX Rippack v3 beta 16 this is a really simple rippack, that easilly converts a dvd to a avi file.
Thats what i'd do.....
