Hi. I didn't know where to put this. I have some movies that have AC3 sound. When I opened them in VirtualDub and pressed play, it says: "No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format."

In GSpot, it says that 2 compatible audio codecs are installed. I have installed and downloaded AC3Filter from http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net
But in VirtualDub, it still shows the error message. When I extracted the AC3 file using VDubMOD, I can play the AC3 file fine with Windows Media Player classic. Please help! How can I get the audio to play with the video in VirtualDub?

1.) You need a modifed version of VirtualDub called VirtualDub-MPEG2

2.) You will need the AC3 ACM Decompressor if you want to frameserve to TMPGEnc or another similiar MPEG-2 encoder (if using that encoder for audio conversion to MP2 or LPCM WAV audio).
