    Just got a DVD Burner but cant figure out how to to backup my data files on a DVDRW disc.

    What software do I use? Guess I thought I could simply drag and drop....??

    Think what you are looking for is known as packet-writing software.
    Nero has InCD and Roxio has DirectCD - both these utlities can format a rw dvd so that you can use a drag'n drop function similar to how you would move files around inside of windows explorer....
