    Can I use VirtualDub for creating complex AviSynth scripts? I mean adding settings of filters, like VirtualDub LogoAway filter? Using the SCRIPT EDITOR function of VirtualDubMod I can set up range and trim, but that's all.

    I can't remember where i saw it but there was a small application called "vcf2avs_gui.exe" that allowed a user to convert VirtualDub project files into AVISynth scripts. It used VirtualDub Plugins as AVISynth plugins.

    Try a search for "vcf2avs_gui", there are a few different versions out there.

    Never had any success creating convaluted scripts with Vdubmod without it crashing.

    Just bite the bullet ,use Notepad and do it manually - you'll learn more that way

    There seems to be a new download along side AVISynth.

    Is this the official script editor?
