Hi, I'm planning on buying the Ati All In Wonder video card the specs say that you can capture at 30 frames per second. My ? is that a good speed for video capture. I was trying to avoid buying a firewire card and go with the video card instead.

Yes, 30 fps is the norm. Actually it's 29.97, but they rounded it. Once you start getting into video capture, you find out all kind of neat things.
