  1. I am converting(or attempting to at least) a pal progressive dvd to ntsc dvdr using CCE and avisynth. Unfortunately, after encoding the video to 23.976 ,I then followed steps to use one of the few pulldown.exe GUi programs that are out there. After trying multiple combinations of settings within the GUi, I failed to get anything resembling a watchable video. There would be a freezing of about a second,jerky video etc... So basically what am I doing wrong..

    Well allow me to update...... I found virtual dub (mpeg2 version/hack) and played my resulting 3:2 mpeg in that. Behold! it doesn't stutter. I'm still confused to why it does in Windows media player though...Weird and quite annoying that I have wasted so much time on nothing..
