  1. I think I know the answer to this, but it can't hurt to ask.

    I just got a couple of MPEGs from a friend who encoded them with the wrong field order and then deleteed the source files.

    Is there any way to reprocess or rencode these MPEGs to get the field order right and therefore get rid of all the jitter?

    Yea, reencode the video.
