    Hi!
    Does somebody know how to remove noise and grains from the old video? Is there any software?

    It happened that I have old film in mpeg 2 format and I wonder if it's possible to clean it somehow.

    there are filters in tmpgenc that yuou casn use. there are no really set values to use, since every video file is different. so its a trial and error kind of thing

    Try running it through VirtualDubMPEG2 and apply Klaus Post's "SmartSmootherHiQuality" plug-in filter...leave settings at default (or you may want to push "diameter" to 7, and "threshold" to, say, 60 or 70. Any more will blur out the picture). This will get rid of all your noise & grain!!!
