    using dvdxcopy plat.
    I have already "backedup" with dvd decrypter some dvd files, so I have a 6gb folder of movie files, but dvdxcopy will not open them, well, it wont even let me search for them the "BROWSE" icon button is shaded and inoperable. Why cant I edit files already on my machine, it seems it will only let me edit a actual dvd that is in the tray!?

    The entire DVD XCopy suite is designed to do things all in one package-- it rips the disc and then writes it itself, you can't use ripped files from another location. Is there a reason you aren't using DVD XCopy for the entire process?
