  1. Here is my problem:

I am trying to copy a DVD-R for a friend. At first I tried DVD shrink, but that gave me the error of "Invalid file structure". Then I tried DVD Decrypter, and it gave me an error too. I've even tried to copy/paste the files over, but Windows gives me "Unable to copy files" . The DVD-R is the only copy I have.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

  2. Just do a copy for copy- the dvd-r is already decripted

  3. I think you will find the original poster has worked that out for him / herself, hence trying to copy it across in Windows.

I suggest ISObuster, or reading the disc in your writer. If the worst comes to the worst, roll back to your original, assuming it's not protected under copyright in which case what you're doing is a no-no.

If the DVDR was burned with errors, you can't copy it(typical with a bad burn or bad media). Windows can't copy something with errors. What you would have to do is rip it with dvddecryptor (ISO mode, ignore errors), then burn the ISO.

Try DVDInfoPro to check the disk for errors.
