    I was wondering if any of you know a DVD Recorder that can do PAL to NTSC conversion.

    I have several PAL DVDs and I am moving to another country, and i know it will be hard to find a PAL TV set there, since i am planing on buying a DVD Recorder, would be interessing if I could by one that can play my PAL DVDs on NTSC TVs as well.

    Specificaly do you know if Mustek 100A can do that?

    Thanks for the quick reply, but i have check and this Mustek DVDR100A has a region free hack code.

    Since I dont have it, i never tried it.

    I was asking about this model because it is on sale on a store near my home.

    Cyberhome and LiteOn should work. They have even regionfree hack.

    Most of the DVd players I have tested recently correctly convert PAL DVD to NTSC television screen. THese include cheapies like Mintek 1600, Apex 1110W, COBY 707, and DVD recorder/player like Liteon 5001/GAteway Ar-230. I think any new DVD player that uses the "Apex" firmware will do the conversion.
