    i have some avi's (xvid) that ac3 audio and i cant seem to be able to extract the audio or convert it. i am able to play the files fine, is ythere maybe a certain codec thet i need to extraxt it. i have tried ffmpggui (or whatever it is called) to produce a single ac3 file, and i have tried virtual dub as well tied to convert to wav but that dont work either.

    any help will be usefull

    ?? Can't VirtualDub extract any type of audio track Direct Stream? I've never had any probs getting the AC3 audio out of of any AVI using std VirtualDub...
