Baldrick,
For the second day, now, when I click to read this thread:
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=205350&highlight=
my browser goes into a stall, goes down to the 5th post, Lordsmurf's blank reply.
All other posts open normally.
My problem or yours?
Cheers,
George

seems to work fine for me

I'll be damned. Even clicking on the link in my post, it doesn't work, won't show any of the thread.
Clock just goes round and round, still trying, leave a tab open constantly and nothing.
Any idea why?
And don't say Will Hay made the last post, that's why.
Sorry, Will, couldn't pass it up. :P
Cheers,
George
Edit: 32 minutes, now, just sittin' 'n spinnin". Mebbe afraid I'll post in "Atkins"? -
Have you tried clearing your webbrowsers cache and cookies?
If that does work try kicking the thread, usually works then. -
Stubborn one,
Tried that, no go, tried restart, click on link in own post, thread, everything.
This is the only thread I cannot read, and, damn me, I'm interested in the Atkins thread and diet. I'm naturally skinny (or I eat right, whatever ).
I've preached it to some of our fatties, and others over the last 30 years, and nearly all who stuck to it lost and kept it off.
Ah, well, what you gonna do?
Cheers,
George[/u] -
I tried it with about 5 web browsers and it works fine on all of them.
But in IE it went to a website that said I need to re-enter my e-bay credit card info. So once I filled that out and came back from some russian site it sent me two it worked fine in it as well. -
tgpo,
Just re-installed 98, for another reason, came back to the site, read your post, tried again, get down to lordsmurf's blank post, and just spinning on the "connected" whirlybird in the corner.
No friggin' idea what is the prob, can't access that one particular post.
Now, is that wierd or what? Every other thing I click on, I read in mere seconds. (Cable, y'know. That's Carolina talk, y'know.)
Cheers,
George
