I am capturing with a RT2000.
How can I check whether it captures with lower or upper field? Just to set correct field order with encoding programs like CCE or TMPGENC.
I have read somewhere that examining a single frame with photoshop could help - I couldn't remember how, though..
Any help would be very appreciated.

If you go to the deinterlace section of TMPGEnc you can choose the field order there, change, examine a high motion frame, then change again. Eventually you'll get it right.
