Help needed, DVD newbie.

Hi,

I started using DVD shrink in combination with a NEC ND 1300 DVD +/- writer on ME OS.
Shrinking is finished normally, files are copied to HD in the audio and video folder. So far so good.

I use Nero 6 to burn DVD's (Philips DVDr or Princo DVDr) on 2 speed.
Burning finished ok.

On my KISS DP450 player (+/- player) the image is very bad and finally freezes.

What am I doing wrong, already wasted some discs. Thanks a lot !

Quite possibly nothing, other than using bad media.

Try a different brand/type of media. Check the media forum for suggestions.

I would say bad media as well and don'g ignore how utterly bad Win ME is. I'm on an XP Home machine 2.4 p4 with only like 512 RAM. and latest version of nero 6. I am ripping and shrinking with dvdshrink 3.1.5 Beta and it works perfect even with crap Princo 1x I normally use Ritek G04 which can be had for about $1 in 100 spindles. Search for internet media resellers.

Usually it's crap media. Secondly it's a crap player. How does it look on your PC? Friends player?
