  1. Hi all,

I have an Mpeg2 file on my hard drive, trouble is I recorded it with the volume too high and now it distorts when I listen to it on my player.
Is there anything I can use to lower the volume in the Mpeg2 file???

    Regards

  2. Demultiplex using TmpGenc.

Open the resulting mp2 file in goldwave. Change the volume to the level you want. Save as wav. Re-encode to mp2 with Tmpgenc or BeSweet. Remultiplex.
