    I have just converted an AVI file to mpg and when i play it on some software including Nero i keep getting a Green Flicker how can i stop this from happerning. Thanks

    I bet the source AVI is an XviD? In that case, try installing ffdshow and reencode.

    sorry but didn't work

    Want to make a DVD from a AVI file?
    I have tried and still got no where because the sound and video are not in time with each other.

    Software suggestion will be welcomed. 8)

    Did you scan the source for bad frames (and remove those found) before encoding?
    Is the DVD frame rate the same as the AVI frame rate?
