Anybody know how to do this? I know Premiere can, but my system really isn't beefy enough to run Premiere's capture program.
I don't want to save any video at all, it would just be a waste of space. So no VirtualDub, save wave.
I want to transfer the audio from my DV device in standby mode, and just capture the live audio.
Thanks in advance.

The sound card in my camcorder is better than the sound card in my comp. So its higher quality to transfer the wav from the camcorder via Firewire, i just need to be able to capture audio only. I could capture both Video and Audio, then just delete the video. But I just want to phase out that, and go directly to audio. I know its possible because Premiere has audio only firewire transfer, but I would like to know of some other option is they exist.
thanks in advance.
