Hi all,
Anyone know the difference between the various PAL modes in capture encoding, ie PAL_I, PAL_B etc.
Regards
Dave

The differences in PAL has to do with the tuners who receive the transmissions, so it is about the terrestrial reception.
When you hook seperate video and audio in, let say S-Video for Video and RCA audio to Line In of you card, it doesn't really matter.
Exceptions are PAL60 (which is simply how VCRs playback NTSC for PAL - only TVs), PAL-M (Brazil) and PAL - N (Argentina ?).
