it's a french DVD that has both English and French audio tracks.
I Ripped using DVD Decrypter and used DVD shrink on the ripped files to eliminate the French audio track and subtitles.
I then used VOB edit to demux the audio and video and then used Goldwave to turn the .ac3 file to a .wav
Then I used TMPEnc to convert it to an NTSC DVD compliant Mpeg2 (29FPS)
Then Ulead to author to DVD.
Everything looks and sounds good accept that when there is a lot of movement on the screen, there seems to be a "shadowing" effect.
Like if someone waves thier had quickly, there are "trails" for a split second.
I am sure this is from the FPS conversion...is there anyway to eliminate this?
I wanted to just make it region free, but I needed to run it though Ulead so I could make my own menus and chapters in english.
