  1. Hi i play a VCD on my player Panasonic SC HT 850 and everything it is all right , but when the movie it is about the end it start to stop and jump, some stripes and block appear and the audio it is not clear.
This happen also for other VCD that i created and burned.
The source file is a mpeg file downloaded with winmmx.
The video codec is :MPEG1 (VCD)
The audio codec is :MPEG-1 Audio layer II

I encode it with TMPGEnc with the following settings.

    Size : 352 x 240
    Aspect ratio : 4:3 625 linee pal

After encoding with this settings i burned the file with nero 6 write speed 4x.

I think that i have to work on filter settings to solve my problem but i don't know how.
Can i have any tips ?

I don't live in PAL land but will 625 line PAL work at 29.97 fps?

  3. Thank u , i read other message and guides and probably the problem is this.
    for PAL i need 25fps.
So have i to change this setting Frame rate :25 fps
Do u have other tips about filter or something else to get the best result from encoding ?
If i check this MPEG with AVIcodec the information about the video are :

    Video : 526 Mb, 1150 Kbps, 29.970 fps, risol. 352*240 (4:3), MPG1 = MPEG 1 (VCD), Supported

have i to encode it in pal reducing the frame rate from 29,97 to 25 ?
    Thank u Federico
