Here's the beginning of the terminal output for a ripped SVCD .mpg file that's being convert to elementary DVD files...

What bugs me here are the strings like
    Code:
Can't open input config file /Volumes/Documents//.mplayer/input.conf : No such file or directory
Why are there two forward slashes after Documents? If it's trying to point to somewhere that doesn't exist, how do I fix it? I've already re-installed mplayer using the ffmpegX engines installer but it still does this.

By the way, I have a seperate partition called 'Documents' where I've set my Home directory to be, but that doesn't explain [to me] why the file error exists.

Even if the two slashes isn't a problem, I'm still getting this...
    Code:
Can't open input config file /usr/local/etc/mplayer/input.conf : No such file or directory
This happens EVERYTIME I encode something. Decoding with Quicktime never works (I didn't pay for MPEG-2), but even with MPEG-1 or anything else it doesn't work. And Decoding with mplayer always gives me this. What's wrong with it?

Another note, I still get working files (barring I choose the right settings) but I don't understand these errors.

    These warnings should be ignored.

    But everything else is ok?

  4. Apparently, yes.
