I have the Collector's Edition Tarzan DVD and I'm trying to get some songs from it... but they don't seem to be attached to any video so I can't figure out how to get at them.

    Looks like this:

I'm not sure what other information to provide.

Any help would be appreciated. Given relatively specific instructions, I can go get any other needed info off of the DVD.

  2. Hi!

If there's audio in your dvd , there's a way to extract it from there too.
Take a look to the DVD RIP section on this site. There's is a lot of tools that you can use to rip the audio from dvd.

    Have fun!

I have DVDDecrypter already but I can't find where the audio is on the DVD in order to rip it.

I'm guessing the audio is in the menu structure...?

Is there any way to rip all the audio from the DVD at once? Then I could look through it all and see if I can't find the songs.

i use ImToo DVD Audio Ripper ($30) to extract audio from my dvds. the prog examines the disc for all available audio tracks and displays them all for your extraction selection. works great. extract to any audio format you want. good luck.

Well, the good news is, it looked to me like it was giving me the exact same ripping options as DVDDecrypter, and so it doesn't matter that I can't get it to work anymore. I didn't get to compare directly though so I could be wrong.

The bad news is, it upgraded my ASPI driver and now half my DVD-related programs no longer work, including DVDDecrypter which doesn't think I have a DVD drive anymore.

    Fun times...

Okay, just to not leave this hanging, here's what I did...

I just got a new computer so I figured now might be a good time to try again. I went into DVDDecrypter and changed the mode to File, and in the settings for File Mode I told it to split the files by CellID.

It ripped me 700 some files from the whole disc, but it was easy enough going down the list and checking the ones that had a decent filesize to find the files I wanted. Then vob --> ac3 --> wav --> mp3

It's totally possible that DVD Audio Ripper would have worked too, but I had enough trouble with it the first time that I wasn't eager to try again.
