  1. I loaded a DivX movie into VirtualDUBMP3-Freeze and i scanned for bad frames and it displayed every single frame is bad. Although it plays fine the audio is in-sync and video is fine when i play it in DivX.

    The only thing i Did to the file was change the FourCC code from MP43 because VirtualDUB couldn't read it to the DivX FourCC.

    Is it just that i knew a better codec suited for the file?

    The last thing you want to do to your system is to load a s**tload of codecs. The only cure then would be to format the disk and re-install everything again.

    Only use codecs with caution and bear in mind that some codecs don't work well with certain others installed.

    Also, some codecs don't properly uninstall, and ruin the system - unless you are upto fine surgery...

    That said, what you need is Microsoft's MPEG4 codec pack. Try the codecs at page
