Since you already have Tmpgenc DVD Author, just get their AC-3 plug-in ($29). It will convert either LPCM or MP2 audio to 2 channel AC-3. The software is licensed from Dolby Labs so it should be OK--I've done a number of DVDs thus far and it works without any problems. Only tihng at the moment, is that it doesn't recode any motion menus into AC3--no big deal to me though. Hope this helps.

  4. Do you have Nero v6.0....? Try to use Nero vision express, it lets AC3 go with 2 channels. Good luck
