Is there any way to transfer files directly from one username to another. For instance, I'm the administrator of the computer and I made another account for myself...is there ay way to transfer my files (word documents, videos etc.) from my current username to the new one?

  2. Can you not move them to a folder that is directly in "C:", and then move them into the new profile?

While logged in as admin move the files to a directory that both users (admin and the other) have access to.

Right click the files, hit properties, then security. Add the user name of the person who is to have rights for these files and give the user full control.

Now log in as e user, locate the files and you should be able to access them. Additionally, you can now highlight all the files, right-click, properties and then security. Hit the advanced button and you can take ownership of those files.
