can anybody throw any light? I`m trying to capture VCR material with wintv2000 which it does but for whatever reason there`s no sound. I`ve tried other capturing programs but the same result, all the leads etc are all set up correctly and I`ve used hcwclear and reinstalled the drivers in case it was a registry problem but nothing. I use winXP pro with a PCI WinTV primio model 615 and my sound cards a soundblaster live 5.1 digital. is it worth my while keeping it or should I sell it and get another budget TV card like a pinnacle PCTV or rave? any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the settings of whatever program you are using to capture with, make sure its using 'line in', also make sure that it isnt muted in the sound settings, double click the speaker on the taskbar and check.
