I have recorded a movie (files .IFO .BUP .VRO) on a Panasonic DVD-RAM disc 4,7 GB(non-cartridge) with Panasonic DVD video recorder DMR-E50 then I try to copy it on a DVD-RW with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 to play it on Samsung DVD player M105 . I can see it but I can’t listen it there’s not the audio why?!

Does Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 support AC-3 sound ? Panasonic records sound as AC-3.
Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home) -
nicam:
With Moviefactory 2, you can change the project settings in Moviefactory 2 to Frame size 704x480, compression to variable data rate 8264, and have Do not convert compliant mpeg files checked. It normally skips re-encoding it since the frame size is correct and the average vbr is less than 8264 so it leaves the ac3 stream alone (pass through). Moviefactory 3 doesn't need to pass through the ac3 stream so it is more elegant. Other stuff such as Tmpgenc DVD Author AC3 version and Ulead DVD Workshop 1 ac3/ Dvd Workshop 2 also support ac3 directly.
