Hello i have the need to record up to 60 hours of footage, but at a reduced framerate. (3-4fps) and i need the ability to take 30-40 seconds out of the clip later on. Currently i am useing VirtualDub, with the DivxPro codec installed, and compressing the frames with it. It seams to fit on the hard drive easily (btw these are all 60gb laptop hard drives) but after a long period of time of capturing VirtualDub because unstable, and doesn't capture any more frames. I need to record all 60 hours no motion sensing. anythoughts on how i might go about A) editing the clips i need, and B) keeping file size to a minimum?
