sorry for the stupid question... but here goes.... iv been burning dvds for a while and I have that down pat... but never realy burned a cd before... i have a bunch of mp3 on my computer I would like to put on a disc for my car. i dont have a mp3 player, so i guess it has to be in wav format???

well i got a small program and converted them all to wav and got about 15 songs are under 700mb... i then went to windows explorer (windows xp) and selected the 15 tracks.... dragged them to my d: and it then continued to copy them all to the cd-r disc. then it said I had to finalize the disc before i could eject it.... i did that and then took the cd to my car... it says there is only 2 tracks on the cd and neither play any music... i know my car will play cd-r discs cuz i have a few a buddy burned me... so what am i doing wrong??? is there a program that makes this all much easier? thanks

Do you have any other burning software on your computer? Ez Cd, Nero, recordnow, etc.? If not you could try copytodvd. It's a freeware (it does audio as well as video files) Also I have found the program dbpower Amp Music Converter very easy to use to change audio formats (quick & easy).
