    TMPGEnc freezes during the encoding of some movies. I cant use anything else because other progs stretch the video. Can any one tell me why or if there os any way to fix TMPGEnc from freezing and locking up?

    Sounds like bad frames to me...try using vdub-mp3 freeze to detect and take out bad frames and then re-encode.
