S**t on me biscuits! It's unfortunate most of my odd Londoner quotes are from the Eastside. I was totally Jonathan Ross'd there for a tic. Took me roath visits (and some guy ritchie films) to figure out what they were saying. Right kick in the Jacobs that. Sorted!

Actually I can't speak it, I can just understand a little of it

  4. Hi guys,
    my first post here.

The content of this link (http://www.viz.co.uk/profanisaurus/profanis.htm )should either answer all the questions you have on British slang, totally confuse you or make you roll on the floor crying with laughter. (probably all three)

    How about rubberband?

I heard that various parts of the Northern USA calls them gumbands or something like that.

What do y'all call them in the UK and other countries?

or elasticbands or lakybands for short.

Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.

I've never understood why Americans calll petrol "gas" when you already have gas in the marketplace. We have gas central heating at home, that doesn't mean it takes 4 star or unleaded!
