Hello everybody
Is it possible to capture an analog video to an AVI with huffyuv compression saving at a USB 2.0 external HD? Did someone made this test? Did you lost frames?
Thanks

I've not used huffyuv specifically, but I have captured to an external USB 2.0 hard drive (Iomega, 40Gb) using my Pinnacle DC10+ card and Studio, and I think I might also have tried VirtualDub with PicVideo MJPEG. Everything seemed to work as well as capturing to an internal drive.
One thing to note is that many external drives are FAT32 formatted for compatibility, so you may have to change the file system if you want to do long captures. This is pretty straightforward though. The future is much like the present, only longer.
