    Guys im sure theres a really simple explanation for this but i cannot find it.

    Whenever i play a SVCD i made with DVD2SVCD in MP9 i get the 9 white sqaures watermark in the top right hand corner, however if i play it in powerdvd this watermark isnt there ?

    why the hell does mp9 show this strange watermark ?
    why is it added by mediaplayer9 and realplayer but not power dvd ?

    They are using different decoders. IIRC, it's the Elecard mpeg2 decoder that adds these "watermarks". PowerDVD has its own decoder.
